Florence Benoit-Moreau appointed Vice President for Student Life and Social Responsibility

2021-02-01: On January 28, 2021, the exceptional Board of Directors appointed Florence Benoit-Moreau, who holds a PhD in Management Sciences and head of the Marketing & Strategy Master's program at Dauphine - PSL, as the Vice President of Student Life and Social Responsibility. She assumes her new position starting February 1st.

2020-11-06: The PSL Board of Administrators, meeting on October 15, 2020, confirmed the appointment of Emilienne Baneth-Nouailhetas, Professor of Literature and formerly an Attaché at the French Embassy in Indonesia, to the position of Vice-President for International Relations of 91�鶹������Ʒ����. She took up her post on October 19.

2020-11-05: confirmation of our IdEx (Initiative d'Excellence) was announced by Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and Guillaume Boudy, Secretary-General for Investment.

2019

2019-23-05: For the intermediary closing of the PSL Innovation Fund, Elaia has received the additional support of Vilmorin & Cie (which includes the seed activities of Limagrain), Bpifrance and the EIF and thus increases its subscribers already composed of many French and international investors with complementary profiles such as institutions, fund of funds, corporates and family offices. Given the interest already expressed by other investors, subscription to the fund remain open. The maximum threshold of € 75m could be reached in the upcoming months.

2019-02-27: PSL is opening a permanent representative office at the Australian National University (ANU).The event comes on the eve of the Joint Science
and Technology Meeting (JSTM) in Canberra, an intergovernmental forum that will focus onhigh-priority scientific collaborations between France and Australia.

PSL and European Space Agency-ESA announce the signature of a Memorandum of Collaboration leading to the launch of joint programs on training, research and innovation

2018-10-22: 91�鶹������Ʒ���� (Paris Sciences & Lettres) and the European Space Agency(ESA) have signed a Memorandum of Collaboration leading to the creation of the ESA_Lab@PSL, which will be embedded within ESA as part of its ESA_Lab@ initiative, and within PSL as part of its Space Technological Complex.

CPES, a PSL undergraduate course, attracts largest class yet in its 7th year

2018-09-24: The 156 students in the 2018 incoming class for CPES (Multidisciplinary undergraduate Degree, a course sponsored by the PSL schools and institutes and Lycée Henri-IV) began their academic year in Paris on September 10.

Appointment: Minh-Hà Pham appointed Vice-President of International Relations for PSL

2018-09-03: The PSL Board of Directors meeting on July 12, 2018 confirmed the appointment of Minh-Hà Pham, formerly Scientific Advisor to the French Embassy in Washington, to the position of Vice-President for International Relations. She officially began the duties of the position on September 3.

2018-06-06: PSL was ranked 4th among the best young universities in the world by the Times Higher Education (THE), came in 39th on THE’s world reputation rankings, and appeared in the top 50 of the QS World University Rankings 2019.

2018-03-30: CNRS, Inria and PSL University, together with Amazon, Criteo, Facebook , Faurecia, Google,Microsoft, NAVER LABS, Nokia Bell Labs, PSA Group, SUEZ and Valeo are joining their academic and industrial perspective as well as their forces to create in Paris the PRAIRIE Institute in Paris, whose objective is to become an international reference in the field of artificial intelligence.

/2018-01-21: France’s Prime Minister has decided to confirm PSL’s status as an Idex (“initiative d’excellence”). 91�鶹������Ʒ���� now has up to 30 months to meet its targets with regard to the integration of its institutions. Its funding is being maintained.

2018-01-10: PicSat sera lancé le 12 janvier 2018 pour étudier en continu l’étoile Beta Pictoris, son exoplanète et son célèbre disque de matière, grâce à un télescope de 5 cm de diamètre. Ce nanosatellite a été conçu et construit en trois ans seulement par des chercheurs et ingénieurs de l’Observatoire de Paris et du CNRS, avec le soutien de l’91�鶹������Ʒ����, du CNES, de l’ERC et de la FONDATION MERAC.
